Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and on behalf of Expert Village, we’re continuing on with our series of using beads in card making. With this card, we have stamped the image, we have precut our papers, we stamped this image on this piece, and we strung the wire around and attached the beads as we went. From here, it’s very simple to finish assembling this card. A lot of people get worried about how it’s going to stick with the extra wire, but as long as you’re using a good quality adhesive, it’s not a problem. What we’re going to do it just take our adhesive and we’re going to go on the bottom edge, and then we’re just going to kind of add some here and there on the sides. Once you do that, we’ll just layer it on this piece flattening down where we have the adhesive, and then again just adding more adhesive to layer it. Now, one key thing when making cards, is the more layering the more matting that you have, the nicer the appeal of the card. When you can add matting, it just makes it that much more professional looking. It would still be a nice card if we didn’t have the extra matting, but you can see how it just adds a level of class. Making it look professional made and beautiful for you recipient.
