Fabrics: Vintage Upholstery Fabric

On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Eileen Duffey and I am here in Silva, New York and today we are going to talk about fabrics. The fourteenth fabric we have today is another upholstery fabric which I think is really cool, very fun bright colors. This has a Teflon finish to it. It is 79 percent cotton and 21 percent polyester. It comes from France. It is a remake of a fabric from 1954; it's very cool, very hip, very modern, very now. I think it would make a wonderful use for pillows, for upholstering a chair. I would pick a smaller furniture piece rather than something quite big because it has a large pattern to it and it has a wonderful sheen.
