It’s really important whenever you get wraparound corners that you kind of keep with the flow of the wall. For instance, if you kind of have a dark spot right here, make sure that you bring that around as well. We don’t want to break up the flow of the wall. So just make sure that you put on enough to bring it around. Again take it, smear it all the way around with your rag very lightly. A light motion- I’m not doing this heavy at all, so no heavy hands. Make sure that you do it very lightly, work out your edges and kind of leave this area alone. Whenever this dries and it still has some marks in it that you don’t care for, you can come back with a rag and be able to take off some of the excess. In just a second I’ll show you how to do that if you happen to put on too much. It is possible to take off some, because the faux is so light, especially with this type of acrylic paint that’s just mixed with water. Again, the pre-mixed glazes will give you time to work the entire thing out. So you will have time with those pre-mixed glazes. But if you choose to go with the acrylic paints, then you’re going to have to work very fast. I would say that takes about one to two or three minutes depending on how wet your rag is and how thick your mixture is, of how drying time is. And also allow for being up high as well because heat rises and so the heat is going to make your paint dry much faster and you’re going to have to work faster, even with your glazes. Your glazes will probably have a drying time of fifteen minutes and not forty five minutes- it dries that fast. As a matter of fact, the acrylic paint probably dries almost immediately when you put it on the wall when you go up. Remember your heat factor. If you happen to be working in a place that doesn’t happen to have a lot of A/C or it’s not cooled down yet, maybe you want to get a fan to sort of kind of cool yourself off because it is really warm when you’re get up high. Or if you’re working up high like we do, we just crank the A/C upstairs.
