How to Check Motorcycle Fork Seals

Last but not least we're going to talk about your forks, your front suspension and your fork seals. One main check that you can do is to visually inspect your forks by looking to see if there is any fluid leaking down your fork leg, or tube, or around the brakes. What will happen if your fork seals are leaking it will leak onto your brakes, your brake pads, and you'll have no more front brakes. A lot of people that race like to put, a little trick is to put a zip tie around the fork so you can see how far your fork is going down to see if you're using as much of the fork as possible. The best thing to do is to visually inspect it and manufacturers suggest to replace your fork oil every two to four years depending on what make and model of bike you have. But again that's one major important thing to look at so you do have brakes when you need brakes.
