How to Approach Net in Tennis
Hi, I am Maria Clark and I am speaking on behalf of Expert Village.com. If I am playing a game or tournament, after I serve I just rush into the net and what it is that for me aggressiveness for playing tennis is really important. When I approach the net I make sure that I am very confident and ready to approach my opponent and usually the ball will come to you in really fast motion and there is times that I have got hit in the face. This is because I was not confident to get into the net so you really have to kind of prepare yourself getting into the net and just be in position of hitting the ball. When your opponent is a lot stronger than you, you need to step back. You don’t just approach the net right away. You need to keep an eye on her and the ball as well. You need to watch her movement where she is going and you need to plan where the ball is going to go. You have to step back and if he or she is approaching the net or he is standing right in the net you kind of have to step back because most likely he or she is going to hit it over you or right in front of you. You have to make sure you are in defense and defending your territory right here.
