How to Cut a Rabbit Using a Table Saw

Hi! I’m Rob McMahon for Expert Village. Now we’re going to use the saw to cut a rabbit. A rabbit is cutting a square section out of a piece of stock. This is a 2x3/4 now, so we’re going to cut a ¾ x ¾ rabbit. To do this, we take our blade and lower it down to ¾ of an inch. Take our fence, this time measuring to the outside to the blade and set that at ¾ of an inch. Alright. Here we have our cut here at ¾ of an inch, and we’re going to lay it down flat leaving everything the way it was because it’s a square rabbit. Here we are with a perfectly clean cut. You can also do this with a dado blade and make just one cut, but this is just as easy.
