Using a piece of black sheet foam, I gouged out 2 circles with the tip of a permanent marker, which was just the right size to finish off the eyes. Paul, you inspire me!

And we can leave it like that for now as we do the other one. Now you are going to hear the Styrofoam crackling a bit making a little crackling sound as you apply the hot glue. I like to put the eye right next to the other eye right in the center. At this point what we are going to do, we are going to take one of these adhesive phelt tabs here and we are going to stick them on the character. So put one there like that and another there like that and what you want to do is have the character look right at you so that you can move around the little phelt tabs here so that you get a sense that he is looking directly at you. See that? Okay. When we come back we are going to put a nose on him and I am going to tell you a few pointers on how to create a customized nose.
