Dog Knee Arthritis Causes

In this series we're going talk about acupressure for problems with the knees. Some dogs will develop arthritis from the knees from injuries. Common problem occurs that they tear ligaments in their knees and then afterwards or as a result of it there will be arthritis because the bones are rubbing together in an abnormal way. So this can be a really good way to help alleviate the pain and discomfort that that they are experiencing. We do recommend you work with your vet and make sure you've done everything medically possible before you start the acupressure treatment. Let them know what you're doing and use it as an adjunct to regular medical care for your dog. The knees particularly will be usually be just one side. It's very unusual to have problems with both knees at the same time. So quite often you can just work with the one knee while you're doing the acupressure and then as with the other series we'll go through some general pain and arthritis points to help you make the dog completely comfortable.
