English Muffins for Eggs Benedict
Hello! This is Sean Roe on behalf of expertvillage.com. The first step in this process is going to be the English muffin. Please feel free to use whatever English muffin you feel. Today, we’re using a classical sour dough English muffin, but you can substitute it for wheat or raw English muffins. English muffins can be prepared in the oven or in a toaster. You may butter it prior to toasting if you’d like; otherwise, you can toast it dry. What we’re going to do is just take these English muffins and we’re going to put them in a preheated oven at about 400 degrees, put it right onto the rack. The toasting process should only take about a minute or two, and when done you can always keep it warm by wrapping it in foil. English muffins have a high water content, so they’re fine to be wrapped. That’s about it for that step.
