The audio recording mode is important for your movies, in order to have sound with them. So we need to turn that on. We'll be making a movie a little later on, and we'll just turn it to on. It's already set up, and then we'll move down to metering mode and you have your choice of center plus outside weighted metering for the exposure value and then just the outside area, and just the inside spot area for the metering as well too. Now we're going to go into the auto focus mode and at the top they have a new feature called face retention, and basically it focuses on somebody's face even if their face is moved, it sort of finds their face and focuses on that. Which is really great for somebody moving around like on a stage or in a performance. Then we have multi- area focus, so when people are, the subject is not in the center of the area it will focus properly. Then we have three area focus, which is good when someone's not in the center area for focusing and you need it in high speed. That's what the H is for, and this one's also got center weighted at high speed, and center area, the larger area and real tiny area.
