Hi! This is Jon on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip I’ll be answering the question what is a powered screwdriver? A powered screwdriver is no more than a drill with a screwdriver tip in the end of it; however they do sell power screwdrivers, but they do not have near the versatility as a drill does. Power screwdrivers and drills come in both corded and cordless models, both of which have pros and cons to them. With a corded model of screwdriver or drill you’re always going to be restricted by the cord; even if you get an extension cord it makes it very difficult in some cases to do your work. With a cordless model you have more flexibility with how far you go, where you can go with it, but you always run the chance of loosing battery power. If you do look for a drill or screwdriver, you’ll want to make sure that the chuck on it is a half inch chuck; this will provide you more versatility when it comes to the things you want to do.
