This opening is called a spoon neck opening and it has on this version which is just one version, we'll just do regular. It has edging. The picot edging kind of looks like a blanket stitch edging but the most important factor on this drawing is the spoon factor. The reason it's called spoon is because it takes the shape of an actual spoon, pretty literal. And when you are doing that, this is one of those ideas that can be done, so much can be done with. You can go from having your spoon style opening, here I have put in seamont stitch lines to show embellishments to show reinforcement. Let’s say you want to have this part mirrored in your hemline and it's a dress. Take and then go down, down here would be your dress and you want to have it be a spoon dress, so mirror it like that and there you've created something that has even more dropping off points.
