Edvard Munch Paintings in Vienna

Edvard Munch, he was a Norwegian painter. But active in Paris, especially in the 1890's. And he is a so called Expressionist painter at that time. As well as a Symbolist. On this painting, we can see Paul Hermann, who was an artist as well. And Paul Contard who was a Psychologist in a hospital. Everybody knows Munch after the painting Scream, from the beginning of the nineties. And this painting was made a few years after. It's really important direction of the views of the two persons on this painting. Because we can see the, our directives Paul Hermann, looks into our face. But the Doctor Contard is looking on Paul Hermann. Which is a kind of relationship between client and psychologist, as the psychologist control his mind, controls his mind, and his client as well. And what about the, what is really important about this style that Munch used on mixed colors and flat areas of color. What we can see on the picture, which means that homogen colors are in the picture. And so it makes a really bright and expressionist in a way, his paintings.
