How to Care for a Motorcycle Helmet

An important component when you purchase your safety equipment and you're riding on a motorcycles is the care and safety of your equipment. You have now just invested a lot of money in your safety equipment. So care of it is a very very very must. There is an impact liner underneath of this helmet. If you drop it any higher than three feet suggested this high, you need to replace it. So that means no dropping and no kicking and no throwing and no girlfriend throwing it, running over it with cars. You need to replace it. That is very important. Your visor is a huge important safety component in your helmet. Please never use any Windex on it. It is treated so that when a bug or a rock hits it, it doesn't shatter, keeps it from scratching. Never use ammoniated products on it, it will cause the visor to cloud. We do sell many products that you can clean your visors with, a plexis, an anti-fog. And the basic outer care of your helmet, mild detergent and a soft, and a soft rag, rubbing gently, hone the bugs. Mild detergent, maybe a plexis cleaner, a plastic cleaner will take care of that nicely for you. I locked the visor, sorry. Most of the helmets have a fully removable liner. So, once again, mild detergent and soap and water. And we also sell a helmet care which is a refreshener. So if you take care of your helmet its going to take care of you.
