Fitting a Motorcycle Jacket

O.k., now regardless of what style of jacket you buy, whether it’s leather, perforated leather, textile, the most important component about purchasing a jacket is the fit of the jacket. And this is how a jacket should fit. It should be snug to your body. You should be able to pull up and not have any gaps. Your sleeves, always do this when you try it on. There should be no gap between your glove and the sleeve. The shoulder pads and the back plates should fit squarely on your shoulders to protect the point of impact. It should be form fitting but not uncomfortable or binding. And this also reduces, when it fits snugly, is the vibrating in the back. It is most important of all for a piece of safety equipment to fit correctly because of distractions. If something doesn't fit well it’s going to be distracting and you don't want to be distracted when you're on two wheels. So fit is most important regardless of choice of style.
