Signs of Cancer in Your Pet Ferret
Hi! I'm Fran Friedman with Morning Star Animal Sanctuary and I would like to talk to you a little bit about some cancers in ferrets with expertvillage.com. Cancers in ferrets is very common. They are seeing numbers as high as 60 and some say more percent of ferrets by the age of 2, will come down with some type of terminal cancer usually in the types of insulinoma, adrenal gland disease so these are things you have to watch out for as your ferret matures. If its a baby and its getting around age 2, look for symptoms and different signs in your ferret. If he has a healthy coat and he is playing everyday and eating and drinking and litter box looks normal, you have no problems. If you notice that they are playing and they are stopping and staring or drooling around their mouths, their loosing hair perhaps at the tip of their tail, then you know that you are probably going to dealing with some kind of cancer with your ferret.
