How to Use the Tricep Arm Extension Machine Exercise

The first tricep exercise I’m going to demonstrate for you is called the arm extension. Before you let yourself on this machine, you want to make sure that you adjust the seat pad, so you my have to sit in it and play with it just a little bit. You need to adjust the back pad and then you need to seat pad. Once you’ve done that, you need to step inside the machine, adjust your weight, and take a seat. Your chest should be against the pad and the back pad should be against your back. You’re going to grab a hold of the bars, hold them up, extend the arms, and then press your triceps against the pad. Navel to spine and you’re going to exhale as you press the machine straight down with a loose grip on the handlebars, extending the elbows without locking them. Inhale as you come up and exhale as you press. Good. Inhale and exhale press. Very good. Make sure you inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. It’s very important not to let the weights touch as you’re doing the exercises. You want to keep the tension resistance in your arms. Inhale and exhale.
