Okay, types of interviews, well why interview at all, right. I mean, you've got this fabulous resume, you sent it in. Well I'll tell you why. There are many things that an employer cannot tell directly from your resume. Now obviously your resume shows your wonderful job experience, your fantastic education, but the resume can't show anything about your personality. So we have to interview so that the person that's hiring can find out what kind of person you are and that's traditionally how they choose the type of interview, is based on the resume and the position. But some of the things they're going to be looking for in the interview, are you outgoing, are you subdued, are you low key, do you take direction easily, do you not take direction easily. All those tiny things about your personality is what they're going to be looking for because ultimately they're looking for a person that will work for their company, for their position, that you're applying for, as well as for the culture of the company and the culture of the company is how is the feel of the company. Is it a structured company. Is it a laid back company. Is it a company full of people that need to work well on their own or is it a company where everybody needs to work well together. So they've got to find not only the person that has the qualifications for the job but that fits the company and the culture of the company. So now lets take a look at the different types of interviews.
