Thai Yoga Massage: Dragon Twist

Coming to a nice twist here, I'm going to grab a hold of the pillow, place it right here. Now you want about the middle of the pillow to be about the middle of the hip because you want, we're going to have her knee resting on it comfortably. So placement is kind of important here. First thing I'm going to do to make sure she's loose and she's going to let me half flip her, not all the way, just half flip her, helicopter a little bit and then start gently pressing that knee over towards the pillow. At the same time, reach down for the shoulder to make sure she's not lifting that shoulder up. I've got one hand on this knee, one hand on the shoulder and I'm going to start gently pressing away from each other. Now she's going to feel this literally from here all the way up the middle of her back., so just gently pressing. Now if you notice I'm trying to protect myself too. I've got a nice long back. I'm not hunched or over leaning forward, and a nice long back. I'm keeping my neck in alignment with my spine. Just gentle pressure. Again listening to the client's body, you can tell if they get tight, that you're overdoing it. So stay connected to the massage. Perfect, one more time. Nice side stretch, release. And you can go ahead and move that leg down to the ground.
