In this clip, we're going to talk about just general placement of the board on the beach You know, when you want to put it down, you want to make sure that you do it in a nice, soft fashion, you're not going to damage or scuff the board up. You can be relatively rough with them, but like I said before, it's an investment and you want to preserve that. Things you want to look for on the beach, are sort of drift lines, you see all of these shells right here lining the beach. When the tide comes up, it's going to, the waves are going to push up all of those shells and a lot of sharp things, and then it's going to recede and leave all of that stuff there. If you drag it over it, it's going to basically act like some really, really rough sand paper, and it's actually going to take off the bottom of the board a lot faster than it would normally do. Two different ways to pick the board up, you can either pick it up from one end, and flip it onto its top like this, find the sweet spot and then pick it up. But, if you do that enough times you're actually going to wear off the nose of the board which we just had to repair before. So, the best way to do it is the same way with a canoe, they actually call it portaging, you find the sweet spot here in the middle, and you're going to pick up both ends and just swing it.
