Hi. In this video we're going to be talking about how you're going to set up your mixer if you bought a mixer that has a reverse or hamster switch to it. So come on. I've turned the turntables around and we're looking at the back of the mixer right now. It's pretty intuitive to hook up your turntables. You want to hook up the right turntable with the right side of the mixer, and the left turntable with the left side of the mixer. It's very important to note the ground wire when hooking it up. So you have the cord coming out of the turntable and you have this third wire called the ground wire. And what the ground wire does is, since there's so many wires back here, there's going to be electrical interference and it's going to ruin the sound of the record. What the ground wire does is it just provides a space for that extra electrical interference to just kind of be zoned out so you'll get a much clearer sound. So make sure to attach your ground wire to the mixer. In the next video we're going to be talking about setting up your mixer in case you don't have a hamster switch, but you want to get the hamster effect the same way.
