Triple Pivot Cut Card Trick
I’m Joe Marshall with expertvillage.com, and today we’re going to discuss flourishes. This is a nice triple cut that you can use that doesn’t require a table. When you’re out at a party and you just want to add a fancy finesse to the moves so they could turn the card or whatever. You’ll just do one of these moves and square up the pack, and then go on with the trick. To do the triple cut we just did, you want to keep your middle finger here on the top portion, your thumb on the bottom portion. First finger of the opposite hand comes over and peels off a packet and it pivots it around that middle finger that’s at the top so that it’s being held by the first finger and middle finger. It’s then dropped into the hand. The thumb of that hand comes and touches this corner here and makes it pivot around the thumb that’s on the back packet, and it gets dropped as well and it comes across. In full motion, you’re just peeling off packets from the back and from the front like so. That’s a triple pivot cut. That’s used just to add in there, just to throw a little spice into your trick, and then move on with it.
