The Waterfall Card Trick
I’m Joe Marshall with expertvillage.com, and today we’re going to discuss flourishes. This next move is known as waterfall. It appears to looks like this. You’re just letting cards fall from the hand into the one below. The way to it is you’re basically just releasing one card at a time, but you can’t just release one card at a time, it becomes choppy. The way to do it is to apply pressure like so, so all the cards have an opportunity to be released one at a time. You’re holding it in this crescent formation and releasing one at a time. As you do that, you’re raising your hand away from it at the same time so those two things are working together. This is called a waterfall, and it looks really nice when you can get a big large ribbon of them and come back down and square up, ready to go. This is one more of those fancy moves you can add that’s pretty simple to do. As long as you remember to add pressure and release one at a time, they’ll just dribble down into your hand. It’s the waterfall.
