Now the collaborative style is a, you want to consider this style certain times. Actually this is, this is one of my favorite styles because it is a win-win situation but there are certain times it won't work, certain times it will. So this style of management is, you should really consider this mostly in situations where perhaps people have the same, again people have the same amount of power. You've got two assistant managers. They both have the same amount of power. They should probably both get what they want. Also consider this style when the issues at hand are very important to both parties. This guy really needs what he needs and this guy really needs and wants what he needs and wants and it's, it's pretty clear cut that both parties involved, what they want is very important and they really both need to win. Especially if these two parties are both unwilling to relinquish anything that they want, this is a good style of management to choose. Also if these two individuals will be continuing a relationship. This might be with a business transaction with another business. Do you want to keep doing business with these people? O.K. if you want to continue that relationship then we're going to have to collaborate so that we can both get what we want. Also a good choice when everybody has a full understanding of the problem and they're open minded. That's a key thing about this style is that you have to be open minded. If you're closed minded about, well this is what I want and that's the end of it, this style of management is going to fail. You have to be open minded so that, so that we can collaborate so that everybody gets what they want.
