Alright now avoidance style is actually, as you can imagine, not used by people in management very often because it quite clearly is considered a style of management running away, ignoring a problem, not really dealing with a problem on any level. However, there are actually a few circumstances, a few situations, when the avoidance style is actually really a good choice. One of which is, you need more time to get more information. Instead of making a split second decision about something in a more aggressive nature we're just, we're just going to avoid it while we collect more information. Another time that the avoidance style is a good choice is when tempers are running really hot, there's a really intense situation and people just need to cool now, so let's just take that avoidance style, remove ourselves temporarily. And it's also a good choice for a manager when two parties that are in a conflict appear to be working towards a solution. Instead of you, as the manager jumping in and making a decision or fixing the problem, it's always better if those other two parties can create a workable solution on their own. And so that's always a great time to just step back and pick up the avoidant management style.
