OK. The competitive style is a good choice or certain people might use this style or be this style because of several reasons. One of which is they have a tremendous amount to gain. Whatever the situation is is very important to the person. That's what I mentioned in the last clip. You might find in sales or high dollar business where there's a whole lot at stake and it is very critical to the person’s lively hood to get what they want. This style of management is really good. It's also one of the best choices when you're dealing with a group, you have a team, or a group of people and they absolutely cannot agree. This could also be a management style that a jury foreman might take or something that you might see in politics where a decision has to be made and the group is at an impasse and so you have to use the competitive management style. It's also used a lot or is a good choice when you have the authority; when you are the one that has to make the decision. This is very similar to the group being unable to make a decision. You have to make the final decision or if you are dealing with a short time frame. You don't really have time to explore another management style, you don't really have time to do it any different, a decision has to be made immediately. You make the decision. You're going to make the decision in your favor, but the decision has to be made.
