Changing Management Styles

Hi there. I'm Tracy Goodwin. I'm the red sweater lady. Today we're going to talking about how to determine your management style. You may be aware of your management style, or maybe not, but there are actually several different styles of management. Sometimes it's good in certain circumstances to change your management style. Now, everyone tends to be a certain kind of style, but that's not to say in certain circumstances if you know the characteristics of another management style that you couldn't change it. The thing of it is that every situation actually can call for a different style of management either because of who you're dealing with or what the circumstances are or perhaps you're moving from one company to another. So, first of all we have to take a look at and identify the different kinds of management styles so you can know what it is that you are and talk about the characteristics of those styles and when they are the best used so that you can decide based on the circumstances that you're dealing with at work if you should perhaps change your style.
