Good & Bad Habits in Success

O.k. In order to get to all those number nines and number tens that you wrote down to create more balance in your life, what you're going to have to do, possibly, is change your habits. So, I want you to write down right now, all your current habits, whatever they are. A habit is something that you do over and over again that is not necessarily positive. Habits could be biting your fingernails. Habit could be smoking. Habit could be driving too fast. Habit could be not wearing your seat belt. Habit could be using bad language. Habit could be anything, something that you do repetitively. Maybe you're even late for work everyday or late for school everyday. That could be a habit. It's something that you do that is formed within twenty one days that you do over and over again. So I want you to write down, right now, all of your habits. What we're going to do in the column next to your habit is we're going to come up with fifteen successful habits. O.k., fifteen. Now you may have three bad habits, we're going to label that bad habits. You may have twenty. But in the column next to it, we're going to write down fifteen successful habits. I'm going to get up on time, I'm going to eat better, I'm going to walk the dog more, I'm going to...whatever it is that is good that will help to create your success, write it down. But it must be something that you can realistically do. It must be a habit that you can do. Try to come up with fifteen of them. And remember, successful people have successful habits. Mediocre people have mediocre habits.
