Adding a Shelf for Extra Storage

So over here I decided to, this shelf didn't exist when I got here but this one was here. And this one is a little bit high and it also, once you put, if you, you know, it still doesn't provide a lot of space here so to put things. So I wanted to put another shelf here. So I talked to my landlord and figured out where, found out where he got these brackets and went and got matching brackets and he made another shelf for me. And we did, we talked about what I was going to put here and what I thought I might put here so we knew what height would be a good height to put the shelf at. And we looked at the width of the shelf, what width it should be and we decided to make this shelf narrower then this shelf because of its proximity to the counter. So that I could maximize my counter space here and keep room for appliances that might be tall and for a working space over here. And another thing that I decided to do is get another steel rod and put up here in these shelving brackets. And you can find these steel rods at hardware stores and certainly the s hooks at any hardware store. And I decided that I was going to use this one for hanging mugs so I got some s hooks for here too. And I also considered getting a steel rod for down here to hang some dish towels on, but then just decided against it and just decided that I can hang a dish towel over the shelving brackets.
