Tying a Rolling Hitch to a Rope

The rolling hitch can also be attached to a rope and normally, if I were to use it in this application. This rope would be strung across, something. I probably wouldn't be using my climbing rope, anyway but for the sake of demonstration. I'm going to tie my rolling hitch, twice around. Across and through again. Anyway, this is a, this is a neat knot; because if this is on a diagonal and you have something heavy. It won't slide. Unless, you apply pressure to it. And it slides very easily, if you do that. And you could also use clove hitch for this application. But it would have a tendency to creep down. If you had on diagonal knot. Anyway, this is a very useful knot. And I hope you find some use for the rolling hitch.
