Flared A-Line Silhouettes in Fashion Design

This next silhouette with which to build upon is called A-line, fit and flare silhouette. What that means is that, again very literal, it is A-line in shape. It's shaped in the shape of an A. And the fit and flare part comes in because, as you can see, I have the waist line drawn in, even though, I am going to reinforce this every time; this is not an actual garment. This is a shape for a potential garment that you can use. You can use this as your basis. When you're just starting out, this will give you just an idea. Every single one of these, I think there's 15 of them, every single one of these that I'm showing you, can be a look. Use each one to just practice maybe. And say, I'm going to design something in this silhouette and then go in, and you know you're not going to have a something that goes across like that at the arm. You're, you can make it long sleeve in your head. Whatever. Whatever you want to do. Just make it your own but this is the shape you would want to follow for fit and flare. Fitted at the waist, flare at the bottom
