Pan Fried Chicken Recipe
Hello this is Chef Shawn Roe on behalf of expertvillage.com we are now to the stage of pan frying. So I'm going to take some olive oil. You could use any oil that you like. Put into a hot pan. Wait for the oil to heat through. You should see a little smoke rising that means that it is close to smoking point which means that it is very hot. We are going to take our well marinaded chicken. We are going to lay in the pan. We are going to pan fry it. You could see that the oil is half way about half way up the chicken which is what we want. This method is rather quick and officiant. Once that we get some color on the chicken and it is about cooked through if you like you could add some of the marinade. It kind of makes its own little sauce in there. It helps maintain the moisture. Once cooked to 165 degrees it is ready to serve.
