Brewing Artisan Globe Show Tea

Hi. We're talking about tea today. And now I'm going to demonstrate how to brew the Artisan Tea Globe, or the Show Tea. And one way. This tea is a very visually appealing tea. So, it's important to brew this tea in some sort of glass device. And what I have here, this is a hurricane glass, used for the Hurricane drink. And so, this is a very simple brew method. I'll just put the Globe into the hurricane glass. And then I'm just going to add water. And I want to add water. I want to add a little bit more water. Because I want the water to be just at where the glass starts to narrow. Like so. And then this Globe is going to sit in this glass for a minute to two minutes. And in that time it's going to open up. And the Globe on the outside is all green tea. And then what you'll see when it opens up is it's going to have flowers that are actually going to come out of the Globe. So we're going to let that brew for about two minutes. So this tea is sometimes referred to as the underwater firework, or a sea anemone, because that's what it looks like as it starts to open. It's like a slow motion firework. And see as the leaves start to unfurl, the water is changing slightly in color. And this tea, basically for the first infusion, it's ready to drink as soon as the globe has opened. So this tea, this specific Globe here is known as a Jasmine Basket. This ring of jasmine flowers here on the top is the basket handle and that's all woven together and then underneath that is a orange reddish flower. This is a Calengela flower. Right here is the Calengela. And then each of these little needles here are green tea, individual green tea leaves. And you can see it's all woven together here. And then I'm going to pour this tea out, because it's ready to drink now. And I'll just pour it into my serving pitcher. And now I can add another round of hot water, if I have some hot water. And one of these globes can actually make twenty five cups of tea. You can make tea all day with one globe. And just simply keep adding water and keep serving the tea throughout the day. And that's a little bit about brewing an Artisan tea globe in the Hurricane glass.
