Sport Bike Seat Removal

Okay so we're going to go ahead and start off by removing the seat cowl and taking off the bolts underneath. There's some bolts that attaches the plastic. We're going to have to take off this whole rear end section to get to our under tail. Okay so let's go ahead and remove the seat cowl. Just stick your key in here, twist it and pull it off and set that to the side. And then go ahead and take your key out. We'll just stick it in the ignition so we won?t lose it. But just don't turn it on. Okay so next we're going to go ahead and remove the riders seat. So you're going to just lift up the side of it and use a 5 millimeter wrench, Allen wrench, and go ahead and twist off the two bolts. There'll be one from the side, and to the right side and left side of the back. Alright so go ahead and take your Allen wrench right here and unscrew the bolt. There you go, just like that. All the bolts make sure you set in a safe place. I'm going to set my bolt underneath my chair, my work chair that I have. And then the other one just pull up the seat like this and then your bolts going to be right in here. Stick the Allen wrench in there and twist that off. Okay so after you got that bolt out go ahead and put it away underneath your chair or in a safe place and go ahead and pull off the rear seat. You're just going to wiggle it loose. Sometimes it gets kind of tight. And then take that off. Alright? So that's going to be your first two steps. Take off both seats. Put the bolts away nice and neat and then, too, we're going to take off our bolts here, here and all the way back here and then we've got some over here and so we're going to take off this whole back part next.
