The Reverse Cascade Ball Juggling Technique

Hi! I’m Adria, one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com. In the previous video I taught you two patterns, this one is called a half shower leading with the right hand or just half shower leading with the right, and this one is called the half shower leading with the left. We’re going to take those two half showers and combine the unusual motions of both hands to come up with three reverse cascade. When you learn to juggle three balls, you are learning the cascade: this the basis of all juggling patterns. Now watch very closely as to what’s going to happen. We’re going to go into a reverse cascade, oh my look at that…now we’re doing the complete reverse of what we were doing before. To get that half shower leading with the right, every single throw from the right hand is an over the top outside throw this way, even though the left hand is still doing the inside throw up the body line. The left handed half shower is the mirror image of the right one, with the left hand throws are thrown over the top, even though the right hand is still thrown up the midline of the body. Now the reverse cascade is merely taking every single throw from each hand, doing an outside throw over the top and catching on the inside. Taking through its intermediate steps, it’s very simple to reach, regular cascade, half shower leading with the right, half shower leading with the left and we go into the reverse cascade.
