Onion & Apple Pork: Overview

Hello today we're going to be making a pork dish. We're going to be taking a pork chop and we're going to be cutting out the bone until we just have a nice soft piece of meat. And then we're going to be sautéing it. And when we cook it about three quarters of the way through, we're going to be taking it out of our pan and then we're going to be cutting up half of a white onion and we're going to core and peel a granny smith apple. We're going to be chopping up some fresh thyme and marjoram. We're going to be adding that with some cream and re-adding our pork chop and we're going to cook that down till it's thick. Going on with that, we're going to be making an au gratin but we're not going to be making a regular potato au gratin, we're going to be taking again onions and some granny smith apples and we're going to be sautéing that in butter. And then we're going to peel and slice a sweet potato and we're going to be adding that to bacon and some bread crumbs along with a little bit of honey and then we're going to be putting that all together and baking that in the oven.
