Hi! My name is Adria, I’m one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com. We’re in a series of multiplex patterns that we’re learning in advanced juggling. This segment is going to teach us a five ball simple multiplex. We’ve already learned the three ball simple multiplex, which is a horizontal multiplex; we’ve learned the three ball reverse multiplex, we’ve learned four ball multiplex in a three ball pattern, which is a vertical multiplex pattern, we have learned the five ball multiplex in a three ball pattern, which again is a vertical pattern holding the balls one on top of each other perpendicular to the floor. This is actually a very simple multiplex pattern based on the three ball horizontal multiplex: your hands must be kept flat, two balls are thrown out of each hand, separated out and caught one with each hand. Now this is going to go pretty fast because there are five balls. We’re going to start with one ball being tossed up, and as it’s coming down, it’s going to force the left hand to throw too, which will separate out, before the right hand can catch one throws the right hand. So the two balls will separate out and then catch, because as we know basis for all juggling is to throw before you catch. And here we go with an example of the five ball simple multiplex…and that wasn’t it, one more try…the five ball multiplex.
