One Up Two Up Combo Ball Juggling Technique

Hi! My name is Adria, I’m one of the professional jugglers here at expertvillage.com. This segment is part two of the one up, two up patterns. In part one you learned the basics of one up, two up which is this one ball up, two ball up, one, two, one, two. We’re going to learn a variety of very commonly used cheating patterns where two balls are kept in one hand, one ball is never tossed, and you can do fun and interesting things, such as…this is frequently called a string…the right hand is doing the V pattern with the two balls, the left hand is merely moving up and down over the inside ball. Alternatively we have what some people call a stick, where the left hand goes underneath and it tends to push up the inside ball, and remember whatever you do with the right hand you do with the left hand as well. Now we have another interesting issue, very interesting type of cheating. When you’re learning the three ball cascade, the basic idea is that you’re throwing up in the middle and catching on the outside, which leads to a mere two ball circle with one hand. Now with what we’re doing now, we start with the string, but we’re doing that two ball circle, throwing up in the line of the body, catching on the outside with the right hand. See that: the left hand is merely pretending to be attached by a string to the inside ball, and it’s just following it around in a circle. And again anything that can be done with the right hand, we’ll do with the left hand. Again it’s an inside circle, and the right hand is merely pretending to have a string attached to the inside ball and following it around in a circle.
