Hi! I'm Dr. Alida Smisek on behalf of expertvillage.com. I'm here to talk to you today about teeth whitening tips and techniques. In this clip, we're going to talk about some tips on to make your teeth look whiter without whitening. Obviously, taking good care of your teeth, helping prevent plaque and tartar build up can help make your teeth look whiter without having to use whitening products. Having regular hygiene appointments and having that plaque and tartar removed, will help prevent that yellowish appearance to your teeth. Making sure that you're not smoking and consuming a lot of dark drinks and dark foods will help prevent staining and therefore avoiding whitening. Some other little tips that may help give the appearance of whiter teeth for women; wearing a darker shade of lipstick can sometimes make your teeth appear whiter. Different shades of clothing may draw attention to your teeth and make them look whiter. Also, not to endorse tanning, but a darker completion maybe through facial products can also make the teeth appear to be a whiter shade. Those are all things that are easy to do without having to purchase or invest time in whitening your teeth.
