Ream Puncture Hole to Fix a Flat Tire

Once you've found the puncture, what you want to do, I mean, depending on how big the puncture was, the air's going to escape so of course you're losing air the whole time, so you, you know, you have a good amount of time to get this done with. So you want to take this reamer, find the source of the hole, which is right here, and you kind of want to jab it in, this, this is another thing that's going to take a good amount of strength to get it down in there, because the tire, the surface of the tire is very hard, or the makeup of the tire rather, because it is, does have steel belted cores inside of it and nylon and of course the rubber itself. So some tires may be stiffer than others. So you just kind of ground this tool back and forth, as you can see it's got ridges across it, so that kind of like breaks apart the metal belts inside. So you just kind of get it to where you can get your plug back in whenever you do get to that step in this process. So you can, you, you can actually leave the reamer in to like hold the air in so you don't have that much escape. So that concludes reaming out the obstruction hole.
