I'm a union voice over actor. I've never been a non-union voice over actor. I was already in SAG and AFTRA, when I started doing voice overs, so I've never done non-union work. There are a lot of people that do non-union work, and you're either union or you're not union, so I can't speak too much to non-union, other than the fact that that's not, that's not union work. With union work, what you do is, you get health and pension benefits, and you get guaranteed amounts for the run of a show, or you get residuals, or you get a buy out, but those rates are set and they're standard, and the reason why we have that, is to safeguard us against not being exploited, I guess. The other thing about doing union work, is that union work can be recognized as part of your overall work, to get benefits, like retiring benefit, retirement benefits, and stuff like that. I've been in the union for a long time, so I've been a union member for a long time, so I only do union work.
