Feeding Race Sled Dogs Tripe Snacks

Hi! I’m Lachland Clarke on behalf of Expert Village. I would like to invite you to visit our website at www.teamclarke.org. Tripe snacks. What did you call it? Tripe. It happens to be lamb tripe, but it is intestine. So tripe is food for the dogs? Snack, we'll snack them; on the longer runs we'll snack them. So do they snack while they are running? Oh, you stop for like a minute or less; depends on what you are snacking and how long the run. You have check points where you re-supply. Everybody thinks “how do you carry 2 weeks of food?” You don’t. You carry maybe a 100 miles at any one time you have to carry enough food for a 100 miles, so one good stop. Maybe 20 pounds of food.
