How to Attach a Neck Line to a Dogsled

Hi! I’m Lachland Clarke on behalf of Expert Village. I would like to invite you to visit our website at www.teamclarke.org. These are spare neck lines. Neck lines? Yep. What’s a neck line? It attaches to the dog’s collar and then to the gang line. Keeps them from wandering too far. I’m going to fix this one. This is my emergency one. I can do it real fast. Just got clips on either end, so if I just need to get a line on, I can pretty quickly. Yes, see this one, I weave through and this is just something we do. Everybody does it a little differently. See if I actually place a neck line and instead of having to go up to the dog team, it’s not going to stay stopped for very long. All I do is clip this temporarily and I have a neck line really quickly. I can just get one on real quick. That’s your emergency? Yeah. It’s just so you can do it quicker. That’s all. Dogs chewing mostly. You know if dog’s try to split a tree, if you go one tree then 1 dog tries to go around one side of the tree and one the other, you might get into a bit of trouble that way.
