Add Bows to Paper Bag Gift Wrapping

We're wrapping a bottle of wine in a lunch bag with some blue masking tape. Painter's masking tape stripes. Now we're going to add a little bit of bow and the final little touches. You have a knot here but that's not pretty enough. Let's put a bow on there too. Just a shoelace bow. I'm going to thread my string through, find the center of these two pieces of string, so that the knots can be one on top of the other. You want to keep all the knots in one place. Loop, loop, you know, just like tying your shoe. The knots are all aligned. Looks cute, but it can get cuter. I'm going to make some little buttons. I'm going to use this scrap booking circle punch to punch four circles. You can get these from a scrap booking store, or a craft store, some fabric stores have them or you can, if you have a direct sales consultant like a scrap booking consultant that you go to parties with you can get that from there too. I'm going to use a regular hole punch. I just got this at the office supply store. It's not the regular size hole punch though it's the next size down. It's a one-eighth inch but you can use the standard quarter inch one as well. I'm just going to punch two little holes in each one, just like a button you would find on your shirt. So cute! I've made these little buttons for baby presents in pastel colors to tie to a package. Absolutely charming. And now I'm just going to thread through the holes. Each one of these is going to get its own button, each of the four strands that we have and you're going to arrange these buttons to the height that you want. I want that one there, and then tie your end of your twine like this so that the button doesn't slide off, and give it a snip. Now it's really starting to look kind of nautical for some reason isn't it? I think it's so cute. This is our last one. We're putting them on a varying heights. This one is going to be a little closer to the top. It's kind of frayed it doesn't want to go through. Don't be frayed. There we go, and a little know and we're done. How cute is that?
