Begin by singing low notes. Move very slowly starting with on a moderate note and moving on to higher note. This is the practice of the low scale referred to as the "Mandra
Supta Kasaginra." It is important as it helps to open up the voice. Keep singing in this way and hold the note for as long as you can.
Then increase the speed as much as you can. This is referred to as 'arva saga' which is singing high notes down to the low notes and vice versa. If you can sing the notes higher that is okay but do not strain your voice.
