Profit Sharing in Real Estate

Splits are important, but profit sharing! There are actually some companies out there, Keller Williams, that offers wonderful profit sharing. And it's huge you guys, so there's just a lot of pieces to who you select as a broker. There's a lot of, for me, it was really going to a place where somebody would just take me under there wing and say this is how it's done. So that's what's so awesome about selecting your broker. Okay, so you've found the broker that you want. You going, placing your license in their hands, and you're hanging your license. Shelly Davis is a Real Estate agent, Keller Williams is my broker. Now the key is, you're thinking, oh gosh broker, why isn't Shelly a broker? Guess what? I could become a broker if I wanted to. Now that takes a few years of having some real estate under your belt. So you have to have at least three years. You know, I might not choose to be a broker. I'm a single parent raising kids, have an elderly Mom I want to support. Being a broker takes a lot of responsibility. They take the hits for you. So, you know, you might be listening to this thinking, the heck with that. I'm going to continue on and once I've become a Realtor for so many years, I'm going to be a broker. Well more power to you. Who knows? In a six months to a year I might be looking at you guys saying, hi, and guess what, I've got my broker's license and now it's going to be the Shelly Davis Company. Right now it's the Shelly Davis team. And we'll talk more about teams and independent Realtors.
