Getting a Real Estate License

Okay, actually you don't have that license right in your hand once you passed that test. Remember, you still have to pay that there is a little application fee to apply and to show proof that you're eligible to be a Realtor in your state and once you get that test, it usually takes a few days. You send it. You take it. I physically took it to the Texas Real Estate Commission. I think there's a ninety dollar plus a thirty dollar. There's about a hundred and fifty dollars in fees to at this point putting in your application, showing that you passed all the classes. Here you go, okay then you get that piece of paper and that is another exciting moment. Don't get me wrong guys. You're excited at that restaurant talking to that waiter about being a Realtor. You're so excited you're a Realtor now. Think about this and this is very serious. You cannot practice real estate until you're licensed and you have that license in hand and you've gotten the word. Even though the girl that is sitting at the Realtor Commission said that you passed the test, you got to make sure it is official your licensed. You cannot discuss real estate until you're officially licensed. Don't worry. It's coming. You'll get it and when you get it, you will not stop talking about real estate. Five years ago, I got my license and I have not stopped talking about real estate.
