Basic Step Touch in Reggaeton Dancing: Part 1
Hi my name is Seth Gordon coming at you Boca Raton, Florida on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to be covering several steps in the dance hall reggaeton music. We are going to cover some steps that are beginner and advance. If you have questions or you feel like you need to practice go ahead and watch this sequence again and practice. The first thing I want to cover today is basic step touch. Now depending on the music, depending on the beat, it various. You have step touch like this. Step, touch, step, touch, step, touch. So what I'm doing my right foot step out my left foot steps in the middle. Step, touch and the opposite. Right, left, left, right. That goes along with dancing at a club or dancing just pretty much to anything it could be hip hop. In dance hall it is a little different i mean you could do this if it goes to the beat but they ...coming from the middle. So we start instead of going 1,2,3,4 we would start and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 so notice how I start my step from the middle. And as in the middle and 1 on the right, and is in the middle, 2 is on the left, 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 and 8. Now odd numbers are going to be on the right. Evens are going to be on the left. And 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6,7,8. The arms could either curve in or go up, whatever you want. There is no indentations. Well I hope you had fun today what we did today was cover several different movements and body techniques, things that are going to help you along with dancing to dance hall and reggaeton. This was the begin session my name is Seth Gordon on behalf of Expert Village I hope you had a good time and practice.
