Golf Etiquette Tips
Hi! I’m David Anderson for Expert Village. We are here at the beautiful Golf Club at Star Ranch on an overcast day. We are trying to help you with your golf game to give you some tips to improve your game, shave some strokes off your score. I want to talk to you right now is the use of golf etiquette. When you are playing golf on the golf course, you want to be as courteous to the other golfers as possible. Some of the things to remember is don’t stand behind a golfer, directly behind a golfer very close while he is setting up a swing or as he is swinging. Also keep your voice low because other golfers may hear you on another hole so if you hit a good shot, try to keep your voice volume down just a tad so you don’t bother some of the other players on other holes. Another golf etiquette tip is on a sun shiny day your body will cast a shadow. When you are the green, you want to keep that shadow away from the line of the putt of your playing partners. If that shadow falls in the line of the putt, it is very distracting and it also discourteous so those are some of the tips that you use to be courteous on a golf course and make the game a lot more fun.
