How to Line Up Your Tee Shots
Hi! I’m David Anderson for Expert Village. We are here at the Golf Club at Star Ranch giving you some golf tips on how to improve your game, how to shave some strokes off of your score and now we are going to show you the best way to line up your t-shot. A lot of times a hole will have a curve. Say this is the first hole of the Golf Club at Star Ranch. It has a little bit of a twist to it so the green is over there but the fairway is off to the left. What I’m doing is I’ve teed the ball up on the right side because I played right to left ball, a fade or a minor slice. Many times a lot of players will play a draw or a hook which goes to the left for right handed hitters. I’m right handed but my ball goes to the right so I will line up on the right side of the T-box, stand here and with my club, try to line up exactly where I want the ball to go. So I will stand and eye it and then approach the ball and put one foot out first so where you want to go. Hopefully the ball will go that way and a little bit through those sand traps.
